ZOURIS COPYRIGHT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY POLICY

This Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy outlines how Zouris FZE, a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, operating under the brand name Zouris ("Zouris," "we," "our," or "us"), handles content ownership, usage rights, and copyright infringement on the Zouris platform ("Platform").

By using Zouris, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy and confirm compliance with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws, including those of the UAE, DIFC, United States (DMCA), European Union (EU Directive on Copyright), and other jurisdictions as applicable.

1. OWNERSHIP OF CONTENT

1.1 Coaches

  • Content uploaded by wellness professionals, creators, or instructors (“Coaches”) remains the intellectual property of the respective Coach.

  • By uploading content to Zouris, the Coach grants Zouris a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to use, host, reproduce, distribute, promote, publicly perform, and display the content on and through the Platform.

1.2 Users

  • Users retain ownership of content they create such as journal entries and notes. By posting or submitting content on Zouris, users grant us a license to store and display such content within the Platform.

1.3 Zouris Content

  • All original Zouris-created content (e.g., branding, interfaces, written guides, audio) is the intellectual property of ConnectWise Services Brokerage Via Electronic Media L.L.C. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other IP laws.

2. COACHES’ RESPONSIBILITY

  • Coaches are solely responsible for ensuring that their uploaded content does not infringe any third-party rights.

  • Coaches must confirm that:

    • They have full ownership or licensed rights to use and upload the content;

    • Their content is not copied, plagiarized, or unlawfully sourced;

    • They indemnify Zouris for any claims arising from unauthorized use of third-party material.

3. COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT & DMCA PROCEDURE

3.1 Reporting Copyright Violations

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used without authorization, you may submit a DMCA-compliant takedown notice including:

  • Your contact information;

  • A description of the copyrighted work;

  • The location (URL or section) of the infringing content on the Platform;

  • A good faith statement that the use is not authorized;

  • A declaration under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate;

  • Your electronic or physical signature.

3.2 Counter-Notice Procedure

If your content is removed due to a copyright complaint and you believe this was an error, you may send a counter-notice including:

  • Your contact details;

  • Identification of the removed content;

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed in error;

  • Consent to UAE jurisdiction;

  • Your electronic signature.

If no legal action is filed by the original complainant within 14 days, the content may be restored.

4. TRADEMARKS

  • "Zouris," the Zouris logo, and other brand elements are protected trademarks of ConnectWise Services Brokerage Via Electronic Media L.L.C.

  • Unauthorized use of Zouris trademarks, or any confusingly similar marks, is strictly prohibited.

5. REPEAT INFRINGERS POLICY

  • Zouris maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward repeat copyright or trademark infringers.

  • Users or Coaches who receive multiple valid copyright complaints may have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated.

6. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of any revised version.
