Welcome to Zouris, a mobile application and platform owned and operated by Zouris FZE, United Arab Emirates ("Company"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Zouris mobile application, website, and associated services (collectively, the "Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Zouris.

1. ELIGIBILITY

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Zouris.

• Users aged 13-17 may use Zouris only with verifiable parental or guardian consent in compliance with UAE Child Protection Law (Wadeema’s Law) and international regulations such as COPPA and GDPR-K.

2. NON-DATING CLAUSE

Zouris is a wellness and mindfulness platform, not a dating or social matchmaking service. Any attempt to use the Platform for romantic or sexual purposes will result in suspension or permanent termination of the account.

3. PLATFORM USAGE LICENSE

• Zouris grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes.

• You agree not to:

  • Violate UAE laws or any applicable data protection laws (e.g., PDPL, GDPR, CCPA);

  • Disrupt or compromise the integrity or security of the Platform;

  • Use the Platform to solicit, market, spam, or mislead other users;

  • Copy, reverse-engineer, or modify the Platform.

4. USER CONTENT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

• Coaches retain ownership of the content they upload but grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, promote, and distribute their content through the Platform.

• Users retain ownership of journals, notes, and other submissions but allow Zouris to store and process that content to provide services.

• Users may not upload content that violates copyright, trademark, or third-party rights. All violations are subject to our Copyright & IP Policy.

5. PAYMENT, SUBSCRIPTIONS & UAE VAT COMPLIANCE

• Zouris offers free and paid subscription plans. Payment is processed securely via third-party gateways.

• All applicable prices include 5% UAE VAT where required by law.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the end of the billing period. You may manage cancellations through your device app store or Zouris settings.

• Refunds are issued in line with our Refund & Cancellation Policy [Insert Link].

6. PRIVACY & DATA COMPLIANCE

• Zouris collects and processes data in accordance with:

  • UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL);

  • DIFC Data Protection Law (when applicable);

  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); and

  • California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

7. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Users must adhere to our Community Guidelines [Insert Link], including the following:

• Treat all users with kindness and respect;

• Do not harass, threaten, or spread hate speech;

• Refrain from promoting or selling unrelated services;

• Violations may lead to warnings, suspensions, or permanent account bans.

8. DISCLAIMERS

• Zouris provides educational and mindfulness-based content only. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice.

• The Platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law:

• Zouris shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;

• Liability is limited to the total amount paid by the user (if any) within the past 12 months.

10. TERMINATION

• We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or legal obligations.

• You may deactivate your account at any time through the Platform.

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION & GOVERNING LAW

• Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting admin@zouris.io.

• If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration at the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) under UAE law.

• The governing law shall be the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.

12. AMENDMENTS

We may amend these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notifications. Continued use of the Platform implies acceptance of updated Terms.
